OFF-CAMPUS ACCESS TO RESOURCES

Some library resources are licensed for use just by MSU-GF students, faculty and staff. To access those resources from off-campus, you will be asked for a user name and password.

For 24/7 access to the library's electronic resources:
Your username will be your 8-digit student ID (Banner) number without the dash.
To request a password, go to https://auth.lib.montana.edu/cgi/passchg/getpass.php.
To change your password, go to https://auth.lib.montana.edu/cgi/passchg/passwordch.php.

Your password will be sent to your official MSU email account. This is your MyMSU Portal email (ex. john.smith@myportal.montana.edu). To get your MyMSU Portal account, go to https://myportal.montana.edu/cp/home/displaylogin. If you encounter problems with the Portal, contact the MSU-GF help desk at 771-4433.

The proxy service that allows remote access is administered through MSU-Bozeman. If you have questions about the service, go to http://www.lib.montana.edu/passwords.
